EARTH AND ENVIRONMENTAL SCIENCE:
Innovative Outreach || Inspiring Education || Effective Communication
I aim, not only to provide educated discussion on earth sciences and the environment, but to inspire old and young alike, to WONDER at our world.
I have a Master of Science in Antarctic Glaciology and have worked as a Scientist in both Antarctica and the New Zealand Mountains. To complement this research work, I have also worked multiple seasons as a Glacier and Trekking Guide in New Zealand. Since a young age, I have spent large amount of my time in the outdoors, and have a strong connection to Wilderness in its many forms, and have a love of travel and exploration.
I now work in the area of Science Communication, most recently on NZ IceFest, a public festival held biennially in Christchurch, New Zealand which celebrates all things Antarctic.
